Family Skiing Holidays
Les Gets is a great choice for children. It's so popular many families return year after year for it's family friendly atmosphere.
Les Gets village caters well for children. The village center is small and friendly, with the main street being pedestrianised 5 nights a week. There are many activities here for children including the ice rink, flood lit lower slopes of sledging and the tourist office organize many activities each week.
Les Gets has acquired the “P'tits Montagnards" label by the Ski France Organization. This means that extremely high importance is given to the welcome, safety and well-being of children on holiday in Les Gets.
There is an area of the mountain for Children Only! Le Grand Cry, themed around trappers and indians, is a ski holiday paradise for 5-12 yr olds. It has 2 lifts, pistes with bumps and banked corners, wigwams, totem poles and even some snakes eggs! Each friday a treasure hunt is organized for the children.
Childcare Only
E.S.F. run "Les P'tit Montagny's" club. This includes an activity club for 4 - 12 yr olds, ski lessons and lunch. They org anise at the to and fro from ski lessons leaving you completely free to enjoy your holiday on the mountain.

Ski Schools
Ski lessons can start from age 3 in the Snow Garden! Most of the main ski schools do children-only lessons, see our ski schools section for links to the ski school's web sites.
